The most recent shooting happened early Wednesday in the Edgewater neighborhood on the North Side. About 1:20 a.m., a 26-year-old man was driving southbound in the 5900 block of North Winthrop Avenue when a gunman opened fire from the sidewalk, according to Chicago Police.
About 5 p.m., a 25-year-old man was shot in the right hand and hip in the 1600 block of West Juneway Terrace. An hour later, a 23-year-old man was wounded in a possible drive-by shooting in the 1300 block of West Greenleaf Avenue.
