Emergency officials responded to 3310 N. Harding Av. about 11:15 a.m. on Jan. 12 found the men dead in a vacant building, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
An employee of a nearby business found the two jars wrapped in a plastic bag that was left outside the building in the 2500 block of South Harding Avenue.
The most recent fatal shooting happened early Saturday in the South Chicago neighborhood.
About 4:15 p.m. an unknown shooter approached on foot, opening fire on the 17-year-old as he sat on the porch in the 1400 block of North Harding Avenue.
A Lawndale man shot his brother in both legs during an argument over clothes, then fatally shot a 74-year-old man who saw the initial shooting and asked what was going on, prosecutors said.
