Motorcyclist Killed In I-94 Crash Near Deerfield

The motorcycle was traveling westbound about 11:15 p.m. on I-94 between Lake Cook and Deerfield roads when it veered left and struck the media wall, according to a statement from Illinois State Police.

Family Among 5 Hurt When Fleeing Vehicle Causes Deer Park Crash

A Northfield man was driving a 2006 Lexus east on Lake Cook Road, fleeing a previous crash, when his vehicle crossed the center line about 11 a.m. just west of Route 12, according to police and fire officials. The Lexus crashed into a westbound 2007 Honda.

Fearing exposure to measles for potentially hundreds of people at a Menards store in north suburban Long Grove, the Lake County health department is setting up clinics to give out free measles shots for people who haven’t received the vaccine.
