Crawford Solid In Return To Net, Hawks Beat Montreal 5-1

Andrew Brunette and Patrick Sharp scored 21 seconds apart midway through the second period, and Corey Crawford made 20 saves in his first start in more than two weeks as the Chicago Blackhawks beat the Montreal Canadiens 5-1 on Wednesday night.

Blackhawks Shutout Avalanche 4-0

The Chicago Blackhawks prevented a four-game season sweep from the Avalanche Wednesday night. Chicago scored their first goal seven minutes into the first period and their second less than a minute later. Their other two goals came during the second and third periods.
