Paramedics were called to Sunnyside and Leavitt about 4 p.m. for a report of a stabbing. One victim, a female of unknown age, was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where she later died.

4 Killed, 18 Wounded In Weekend Shootings

The most recent fatal shooting happened Sunday evening in the Ravenswood neighborhood on the North Side. A witness saw the man, between 18 and 25 years old, in an alley with several other males when gunshots were heard, police said. A red SUV was seen driving from the scene.
