Funding Infrastructure Isn’t ‘Sexy’: Illinois And Chicago Infrastructure Is Underfunded, Neglected

The American Society of Civil Engineers gave didn’t give Illinois the greatest grade when it comes to infrastructure, which isn’t surprising, considering the federal and state governments struggle to maintain America’s roads, bridges and dams.

CPS Grading Its Schools, But Parents Say Report Cards ‘Confusing’

Parents of Chicago Public School students can now go online to see how CPS grades each of its schools, but some parents say the grades are confusing, especially when some of the top graded schools have so many kids testing below national standards.
