Eight Wounded In Shootings Wednesday Evening

Two men were hurt—one critically—in a drive-by shooting in the Rogers Park neighborhood. The men, 23 and 35, were in the 1500 block of West Farwell Avenue about 9:55 p.m. when someone in a dark-colored vehicle drove by and fired shots, police said.

Alleged Getaway Driver Charged In Rogers Park Shooting Death

A 31-year-old man has been charged in connection with the death of a photographer who was slain at a Rogers Park bus stop in broad daylight last week. Prosecutors said Eric Vaughn handed the gun to the shooter, and drove the getaway vehicle.

4 Dead, 29 Wounded In Weekend Shootings

The most recent fatal shooting happened early Monday in West Englewood. Officers found a man, thought to be in his 50s, unresponsive on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound to the head in the 1500 block of West 72nd Street about 12:45 a.m.
