You Can’t Win Your Fantasy Baseball League In June, But You Can Lose It

Summer is coming; the kids will be out of school soon if they aren’t already. This is not the time to forget about your fantasy baseball team. Sure, life gets busy, but the minute you let a transaction period go by unattended is the minute you lose your league. Staying on top of your roster all the time is key to winning your league, even if it becomes a challenge to find the time to manage your team.

Flowers Hits Tying, Winning Homers In White Sox Win Over A’s

Tyler Flowers shocked the Oakland Athletics on Monday night — but probably no more than he surprised himself. Flowers hit a solo home run to tie the game in the ninth inning and then added another to win it in the 12th, leading the Chicago White Sox to an improbable 5-4 victory.

White Sox Rally Falls Short In 5-4 Loss To A’s

White Sox manager Robin Ventura questioned the effort of his players after a 5-1 loss to Arizona on Sunday in Chicago, and he spoke about the “uninspired” effort again before playing at Oakland on Monday night hoping for a spark. All he could complain about after the latest loss is that the comeback came too late.
