Mexican Drug Lord Named Chicago’s ‘Public Enemy Number One’

The Chicago Crime Commission said no criminal since Al Capone has been more deserving of the title “Public Enemy Number One” than Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman, head of the Sinaloa drug cartel in Mexico, which is responsible for much of the street gang violence in the city.

Reputed Drug Kingpin Has New Home: Chicago Federal Lockup

The right-hand-man to Sinaloa cartel leader Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman is in a federal lockup in Chicago after he was extradited from Mexico, officials said Friday.
