Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance
A search of a northwest suburban home turned up drugs and ammunition Wednesday night, leading to the arrest of a 16-year-old boy as well as an Elgin man wanted in a separate armed robbery investigation.
During the course of a four month investigation, 32-year-old Angelo Hopson delivered and sold heroin to an undercover officer on three separate occasions, according to a statement from Elgin police.
A package containing more than 19 pounds of marijuana addressed to 20-year-old Mark A. Sudds was intercepted by the U.S. Postal Service, according to a statement from the DuPage County sheriff’s office. Undercover detectives from the the sheriff’s office then arrested Sudds and another man, 26-year-old Michael Grassman.
