Be A Part Of The 20/20 Experience

Nine-time Grammy Award winning artist Justin Timberlake is coming to the United Center this Monday on his 20/20 Experience World Tour. Timberlake has been a fixture in pop music for almost two decades and has sold over 20 millions albums as a solo artist worldwide. His recent two part album The 20/20 Experience was his first studio release in seven years and featured the smash single "Suit & Tie" which featured rapper Jay-Z. Other popular singles from Timberlake include "Mirrors," "Sexyback," and "Summer Love." The concert starts at 8:00 p.m. and tickets are on sale now starting at $104.

Celebrate National Pastry Day

Date: Tuesday, December 9

December 9th is National Pastry Day! Celebrate the day at Artopolis Bakery and Cafė on S. Halsted Street. Artopolis has an entire menu of signature pastries like the royal white chocolate cake. The royal white chocolate cake is made of white chocolate mousse with raspberry glaze and costs $5. Every dish on the pastry menu is affordably priced at $5.50 or less. Artopolis also sells traditional Greek desserts and a collection of tarts in five different varieties. Artopolis Bakery and Cafė is open from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. on Tuesdays.

Explore The Past And Present

Date: Wednesday, December 10

The Ukrainian Institute of Modern Art (UIMA) in collaboration with the Ukrainian National Museum is hosting their "From Past To Present" exhibit this Wednesday. "From Past To Present" features the illustrations of children from Chicago and the Ukraine. These children were tasked with asking their grandparents what kind of legacy they would like to leave behind and then drawing their responses. The illustrations in the exhibit feature themes from religion and tradition to jewelry and clothing styles. The exhibit is open from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Wednesdays and admission is free.

Catch Bulls-Blazers At The United Center

Date: Friday, December 12

Two of the most dynamic point guards in the NBA will lock horns this Friday when Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls host Damian Lillard and the Portland Trailblazers inside the United Center. This will be the second contest between these two ball clubs this season with Portland taking a 105-87 victory inside the Moda Center back on November 21st. This is also the last chapter of a three game homestand for the Bulls who won't be returning home again until their December 18th match-up with Carmelo Anthony and the New York Knicks. The game starts at 6:00 p.m. and tickets start at $57.

See A Holiday Classic

Date: Saturday, December 13

Start or continue a family tradition this year by going to see The Nutcracker at the Joffrey Ballet Chicago. All music is performed live by The Chicago Philharmonic and composed by Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky. Robert Joffrey and Gerald Arpino serve as lead choreographers. The show lasts approximately two hours with one intermission. There will be two performances this Saturday, one at 2:00 p.m. and one at 7:00 p.m. The show is suggested for audiences four and up and tickets start at $93.
