Aurora Fire Leaves Two Injured

AURORA (STMW) -- A serious house fire in west suburban Aurora has left a man and a woman hurt Saturday morning.

The blaze started about 6 a.m. at a single-family home at 456 Pennsylvania Ave., according to Aurora spokesman Dan Dan Ferrelli.

A 66-year-old man and a 46-year-old woman were injure d in the fire. The woman as taken to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood while the man was taken to a hospital in Aurora, according to Ferrelli . Their conditions were not immediately known.

Foul play is not suspected in the serious blaze, Ferrelli said.

An Aurora firefighter said at 9:15 a.m. the blaze was out, but crews are still on the scene helping out.
