AT&T U-verse Viewers Get Their Channels Back
CHICAGO (WBBM) - Customers of AT&T's U-verse cable television service have all their channels back, following an agreement last night between Scripps Networks and the TV provider.
The popular Food Network and HGTV were among the channels unavailable for almost three days.
The president of Scripps Networks tells the Chicago Tribune both sides regret putting viewers in the middle of the situation.
AT&T U-verse on Friday dropped the county music network Great American Country, Cooking Channel and the home improvement channel DIY Network along with HGTV and Food Network.
Those all are Scripps Networks channels and AT&T's contract with Scripps Networks had expired Scripps Networks President John Lansing said where was a contract breakdown over AT&T U-verse plans to use the company's video on phones and websites and without restrictions.
