Naperville Man Charged With Child Porn

NAPERVILLE (STWM) -- A Naperville man charged with child pornography was released on bond on Wednesday after posting $50,000.

Kyle D. Gore, 23, of 2124 Riverlea Circle, is charged with three counts of aggravated child pornography, a Class 2 felony, a release from the Naperville police said. Gore posted 10 percent of the $500,000 bond and was released on Wednesday but will return to the Will County courthouse in Joliet on Jan. 13, 2011.

Gore's arrest stems from an investigation that began in April 2010 by the Naperville Police Department's High Tech Crimes Unit after they received information that a person was looking to have sexual encounters with young children, the release said.

Additional information into the matter identified the person using the AOL screen name kdg31097@aol.com, the release. Police obtained subpoenas and search warrants for the account and computer, which led them to Gore.

On Aug. 20, a search warrant was executed at Gore's residence where an analysis of his computers uncovered numerous images of child pornography, the release said. Gore was arrested on Tuesday at his home.
