Rose Misses Practice With Stomach Ulcer

Derrick Rose missed his second consecutive practice on Thursday as he deals with a stomach ulcer.

While Rose was at the Berto Center Thursday, he didn't participate in practice. Rose missed Wednesday's practice with flu-like symptoms, but it's a stomach ulcer that has kept him out of practice and prevented him from eating the past few days.

Rose hopes to play on Friday when the Bulls return to action agaisnt the Orlando Magic at the United Center.

Rose is expected to be named the Chicago Bulls' first All-Star starter since Michael Jordan, when TNT announces the roster during their Thursday night broadcast.

Rose passed up Boston's Rajon Rondo to move into a starting spot and could potentially be paired up with Miami guard Dwyane Wade.
