CHICAGO (STMW) — Police are looking for a man accused of forcing a 17-year-old girl into a car and fondling her before she could escape Monday morning on the Near South Side.

The reported criminal sexual abuse happened near 26th and State about 10 a.m. Monday, according to an alert from Wentworth Area detectives.

The man forced the teen into a four-door car, then fondled her. She escaped and he then drove away, the alert said.

The man was 30 to 35, 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-8 with a thin build and closely cut, faded hair, the alert said. He was black with a medium complexion, and was last seen wearing a dark sweatshirt with a turtleneck collar, dark blue jeans, and purple and black Nike shoes.

His vehicle is described as a smaller four-door which was dark green with a tan sun roof, the alert said.
