'Simulated' Fantasy Football If Lockout Leads To Canceled Games?

CHICAGO (WSCR) As the NFL Lockout progresses, the nightmare of canceled NFL games becomes more and more of a possibility. One major element of the NFL season that would suffer a major hit, but has received little conversation so far, is fantasy football.

But because fantasy football has become such a profitable industry, companies are already preparing for the worst.

"I can't say the companies," Paul Charchian, of FantasyVictory.com, said on the Danny Mac Show. "But I know companies that are out there, right now, that if it comes to this, they're ready to roll out simulated weeks and seasons that you can play fantasy football into."

Charchian also said that if there are canceled NFL games, fantasy college football, which has been growing over the last few years, would "explode" in the fall.
