CHICAGO (WSCR) John Danks has allowed four or fewer runs in seven of his last 10 starts, but until Monday night, didn’t have a win on the season.

“I mean, to have him finally get that win. And the way he did it was awesome. He threw 7.1 [innings], one run, one unearned run, I mean, is pretty impressive. And that’s what we needed coming off that series loss to Detroit. We needed to come out and win this first game, and it was a huge win for the team, probably even a bigger one for John, hopefully he can put together a few more.”
So far this season, the White Sox haven’t been able to live up to their expectations.
