iPhone App Guides Users To Best Illinois Spots

A new, free iPhone app has been developed for the State of Illinois called "Enjoy Illinois." It was developed by an Evanston company that first came up with a similar app for the State of Virginia.
"When somebody has the application, what they've got, basically, in their pocket is a mobile guide for everything that's happening in the state – whether it's an event, attraction, could be a great restaurant," said Jay Hawkinson of the company, SIM Partners.
Hawkinson says the "Enjoy Illinois" app info is updated every day. It also has a GPS tool and an itinerary function, so you can plot going from place to place for how ever many days you want to enjoy Illinois.

SIM Partners says an Android app for Enjoy Illinois is coming this fall.
