But Cubs owners the Ricketts family would like to have a movie night at the ballpark on Oct. 1, and show a baseball-themed flick, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.

No movie has yet been selected.

Ald. Tom Tunney (44th) has introduced an ordinance in the City Council that would allow the extra nighttime event, the Sun-Times reported.

The Cubs would expect about 3,000 to 4,000 people to show up for the screening, mainly from the surrounding Lakeview neighborhood, the newspaper reported.
