CHICAGO (CBS) — A car crashed into a popular breakfast spot in the Streeterville neighborhood overnight, following a quarrel between two drivers.

The car slammed into Yolk Restaurant, at 355 E. Ohio St., around 12:35 a.m., police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro said. No one was reported injured.

Police initially responded to a call of shots fired in the area. They say there was a spat between two drivers, one of whom fled the scene and crashed into the building.

The motorist who slammed into the restaurant sped off afterward. The Chicago Tribune reported the car was found abandoned a few blocks away.

Yolk is located on the ground floor of the Streeter Place, a luxury rental apartment building at Ohio Street and McClurg Court.

Police continue to search for the driver that crashed into the restaurant.
