(CBS) Cubs manager Mike Quade met with Theo Epstein and new general manager Jed Hoyer last week but no decision was made on his future, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

The report says the three will meet again this week and Quade will learn in that meeting whether or not he will be retained as manager. He has one year left on his contract.

Meanwhile, Hoyer and Jason McLeod, the Cubs’ new senior vice president for scouting and player development, are expected to be formally introduced Tuesday in a news conference at Wrigley Field.
