Teen Boy Wounded In South Side Shooting

CHICAGO (STMW) - A teenage boy was wounded during a Tuesday night shooting on the South Side.

The 16-year-old boy was shot in the leg about 6:25 p.m. in the 8800 block of South Ada Street, said police News Affairs Officer Veejay Zala, citing preliminary information.

The teen was taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County in an unidentified condition.

South Area detectives are investigating.
