Want To Be Obama's Neighbor? $1.7 Million Could Do It

CHICAGO (CBS) -- He hasn't been home much in the past four years, but for about $1.7 million you could be President Obama's neighbor.

Not his next door neighbor, but about a block north at 4917 South Greenwood Avenue.

The property, the C.E. Gill Residence, was just listed for $1.699 million.

It's a massive 5,300 square feet with eight bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths and a very deep lot.

The home boasts lots of vintage details from the original 1896 home, along with a fair amount of updates.

And you could send the kids trick-or-treating down the block to the president's house, although it's a bit tough getting past the security detail.

The home was designed by William Otis, a local architect and Art Institute history lecturer.
