CHICAGO (CBS) — Police have issued a warning to Near West Side residents after a string of burglaries in the neighborhood surrounding the United Center.

The burglaries happened at the following locations and times:
The 1800 block of West Washington Boulevard – between Wolcott Avenue and Wood Street – around 7 a.m. June 5.

The 2100 block of West Madison Street, between Wolcott and Hoyne avenues, around noon Sunday.
Police advise residents of the area to keep their homes well-lit, and watch out for anyone suspicious in the neighborhood.
