(CBS) The Blackhawks re-signed forwards Brandon Bollig and Ben Smith to two-year contracts, bringing back two pieces who figure to be contributors next season.

Bollig made his NHL debut last season, playing in 18 regular season games and scored his first NHL goal in Game 2 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals against Phoenix. Hutton posted a 11-2-1 record with the IceHogs after signing a one-year deal with the Blackhawks Feb. 24. Salak was 6-10-2 with a 2.69 goals-against-average in Rockford last season.
