Bulls Sign Chicago-Native Mohammed

((WSCR) The Bulls announced Friday they have signed free agent center Nazr Mohammed.

Mohammed (6-10, 250), a 14-year NBA veteran, spent last season with the Oklahoma City Thunder. He appeared in 63 games and averaged 2.7 ppg and 2.7 rpg in 11.0 mpg.

Mohammed, 35, a Chicago native, was drafted in the first round (29th overall) of the 1998 NBA Draft
