With news breaking last night that the NFL and NFL Referees Association had agreed to an eight-year deal, the replacement refs are officially no more. Starting tonight in Baltimore, regular, qualified officials will be donning their black and white stripes for the first time since Super Bowl 46.

We may not have liked it, but the replacement refs certainly made for some good conversation.

Now, let’s eulogize the replacement refs.
