Couple Accuses Teen Of Planting Camera In Their Bedroom
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A North Aurora couple is accusing their young neighbor of installing a hidden camera in their bedroom, according to a published report.
David and Katerina Speers say their 16-year-old neighbor used to baby-sit their children.
Now they have an order of protection against him and are suing him and his parents for more than $50,000 in damages, WBBM Newsradio's Brandis Friedman reports.
In the lawsuit, the couple says the boy's parents were negligent is supervising their son.
The suit claims the teen hid a surveillance camera near their bedroom television.
North Aurora police tell the Daily Herald that they are investigating, but no charges or arrests have been made.
The newspaper reported that the teen said he was unable to hook up the camera and never got any video or audio.
