Rihanna To Visit Barrington High School

BARRINGTON (CBS) -- A lot of students at Barrington High School are giddy over the prospects that a real star will be visiting their school before summer vacation.

Several students at Barrington High School put together an impressive video for a contest by singer Rihanna, and named it after one of her hits, "Shine Bright Like A Diamond."

The video beat dozens of others from around the country, so now Rihanna will be visiting the school.

The video touts the students' efforts raising money for charity, more than $1 million for everything from the American Cancer Society to aid victims of the tornado in Joplin, Mo. , to partnering with a down syndrome awareness center.

The students think Rihanna might visit in March when she is in the area for a concert.
