Listen: Freddie Roach With Craig Miller

By Craig Miller-

(CBS) Hall of Fame trainer and current trainer to Manny Pacquiao, Freddie Roach joined Craig Miller to talk about his fighter Ruslan Provodnikov, who will be fighting Timothy Bradley this Saturday, March 16 on HBO. Ruslan Provodnikov is one of Manny Pacquiao's sparring partners and is looking to strip Timothy Bradley of his WBO Welterweight Title.

Hear Freddie Roach explain to Craig why Timothy Bradley is fighting Provodnikov and not Manny Pacquiao. Roach agrees with Bob Arum that a fifth fight between Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez is necessary. Roach did say that he eventually would like to see Manny fight Tim Bradley.

Roach doesn't think he'll train Julio Ceasar Chavez Jr. again because of his lack of discipline in training camp. He does think that Chavez Jr. will fight Sergio Martinez again in a sold out event in Texas. He is excited about his new fighter Zou Shiming, who is a two time Olympic gold medalist from China.

Listen to Freddie as he remembers Emanuel Steward and reminisces about his former days as a fighter under trainer Eddie Futch. Roach thinks Chicago is a great fight town, but needs someone to step up and promote a top Chicago fighter.

Finally, Roach tells Craig that Floyd Mayweather Jr. ducks fights and he is the reason that the Pacquiao, Mayweather fight will not happen. He does give Mayweather credit by choosing to fight Robert "the Ghost" Guerrero. Freddie has worked with Guerrero before and says he has a great shot at beating Floyd Mayweather Jr.
