Today is Earth Day, and to help our city become a little greener, Abt Electronics has teamed up with the City of Chicago and Chicago’s Green Office Challenge to help residents and local business recycle their e-waste.

Where are the e-waste drop-off locations?

1. West Side: Chicago Center for Green Technology (445 N Sacramento Blvd., Chicago, IL ) – 5am -11am
2. Chicago Loop: Corner of Michigan Ave. and Lake St. – 6:30am -1:30pm
3. North Side: 2501 West Bradley Place, Chicago, IL – 6:30am -10am
4. Suburbs: Abt Electronics, 1200 N. Milwaukee Ave., Glenview, IL – 9am – 12pm

What items will be accepted during the e-waste drive?

• Electronics (computers, computer displays, hard copy devices, keyboards & mice, TVs, mobile devices)
• Batteries
• Appliances (Microwaves, refrigerators, dishwashers etc. including countertop and vacuums)
• White Styrofoam (no peanuts)
• Wood pallets (must be intact)
• No glass, no light bulbs
