On Wednesday, former Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez was charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of 27-year-old Odin Lloyd. That’s Aaron Hernandez, not Aaron Rodgers.

The usually-solid Jeremy Schaap from ESPN had a small – but crucial – slip of the tongue while reporting on the investigation Wednesday night, referring to the man charged with murder as Aaron Rodgers instead of Aaron Hernandez.
