Elderly Woman With Dementia Missing From Auburn Gresham

CHICAGO (STMW) -- Police are asking for the public's help to find an elderly woman who went missing from the South Side Auburn Gresham neighborhood Tuesday.

Fatimah Shabazz, 70, was last seen about 4 p.m. in the 7900 block of South Laflin Street, according to an alert issued by Area South detectives.

Shabazz suffers from dementia, the alert said. She is described as a 5-foot-4, 110-pound black woman with brown eyes, gray hair and a light complexion.

She was last seen wearing a green top and green pants, the alert said.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call detectives at (312) 747-8274.
