2 Seriously Injured In West Side Shooting

CHICAGO (STMW) -- Two people were seriously wounded in a shooting on the West Side early Wednesday.

The shooting occurred about 3 a.m. in the 4200 block of West Van Buren Street, police said.

Few details were offered about the shooting, though police did say that the two men may have been in a car when they were shot.

A 24-year old man was shot in the upper back, while the other man, 27, was shot multiple times in the torso, police said.

Both are in serious condition at Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.

The shooting may have been gang-related, police said.
