Two Men Shot In Englewood

CHICAGO (STMW) -- Two men were wounded in a shooting in Englewood early Tuesday.

The two, 26 and 32, were in the 800 block of West 59th Street about 12:45 a.m. when an unknown male approached them and opened fire, police said.

The 32-year old man, who police said had gang affiliations, was shot in the neck and leg and was taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County in critical condition.

The 26-year-old man was shot in the abdomen and was taken to Saint Bernard Hospital and Health Care Center in "stable" condition, police said.

Nobody was in custody Monday morning as Area South detectives investigated.
