High School Security Guard In Cicero Charged With Having Sex With Student

CICERO (STMW) -- A security guard at a west suburban high school allegedly sexually assaulted a 16-year-old student.

While employed as a security guard at Morton East High School in Cicero, 36-year-old Osiel Martinez befriended the teen girl, but then engaged in a sexual relationship with her at some point between March and August this year, Cook County prosecutors said Saturday.

On one occasion, Martinez, who lives in Cicero, drove the girl home, followed her in and had sex with her, prosecutors said.

Martinez allegedly told the teen not to tell anyone because he would go to jail. The alleged victim later told a friend about the incident.

Martinez made a handwritten admission to police about the relationship, prosecutors said.

Martinez is married to a Cicero middle school teacher and has two kids, his defense attorney said.

Martinez was ordered held in lieu of $200,000 bail on criminal sexual assault charges.
