(CBS) The Cubs have reportedly signed outfielder Ryan Sweeney to a two-year, $3.25 million deal.

“I’m glad to be back and have this taken care of soon,” Sweeney told the Tribune.

The 28-year-old Sweeney batted .266 with six home runs and 19 RBIs in 70 games with the Cubs this season.

He missed more than two months because of a rib fracture.
