Police: 3 Hurt In South Side Crash

CHICAGO (STMW) -- Three females were injured early Monday when their vehicle collided with a median viaduct on the South Side, police said.

The crash happened about 2:30 a.m. in the 7500 block of South South Chicago Avenue, said police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro, citing preliminary information.

Two females were transported to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn and a third female passenger was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, but their conditions were not immediately known, Alfaro said.

The circumstances of the crash were not immediately available, Alfaro said. The Chicago Fire Department could not be reached for comment.

Area South detectives were investigating.
