CHICAGO (CBS) -- Chicago may not be the galaxy far, far away, but it's apparently close enough for Disney and LucasFilm.

On November 14th, 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., Disney and LucasFilm are hosting an open casting call at the Park West Theatre for "Star Wars: Episode VII."

Yes. This just might be your chance to finally become a Jedi.

"We want to make sure that all the talented young men (ages 19-23) and women (ages 17-18) who fit the character descriptions have an opportunity to try out," a LucasFilm spokesman said while confirming the casting call with CBS. "'Star Wars' has a long tradition of casting new talent and it would be great if that unknown talent was found in Chicago!"

According to the casting call, there are two roles being cast: Rachel and Thomas. While it's doubtful those are the characters' real names, our "Star Wars" experts think it's unlikely they're characters we've seen in the previous movies. According to the character descriptions, at least, which you can read below.

Seeking: Young woman to play 17-18 Years old. Must be beautiful, smart and athletic. Open to all ethnicities (including bi- and multi-racial).

RACHEL:

Was quite young when she lost her parents. With no other family, she was forced to make her way alone in a tough, dangerous town. Now 17 she has become street smart and strong. She is able to take care of herself using humor and guts to get by.

Always a survivor, never a victim, she remains hopeful that she can move away from this harsh existence to a better life. She is always thinking of what she can do to move ahead.

Seeking: Young man to play 19-23 years old. Must be handsome, smart and athletic. Must be over 18.

THOMAS:

Has grown up without a father's influence. Without the model of being a man, he doesn't have the strongest sense of himself. Despite this, he is smart, capable and shows courage when it is needed. He can appreciate the absurdities in life and understands you can't take life too seriously.

If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must accompany you!!!

The casting call will serve as a meet and greet with casting director Maryellen Aviano, whose credits include "Captain America: The Winter Soldier," "Man Of Steel," "The Avengers," and many other notable blockbusters.

According to a LucasFilm spokesman, "Anyone outside of the age range will not be considered. We don't want to make anyone unhappy at the session!"

So, for those lucky enough to be in the casting call's age range, remember: Han shot first.

May the force be with you.
