CHICAGO (STMW) — A man was shot to death Tuesday afternoon in the Morgan Park neighborhood on the Far South Side.

About 4:40 p.m., officers responding to a call of shots fired discovered the 30-year-old with a gunshot wound to his head in the 11200 block of South Ada Street, police said.

Kevin Johnson, of the 100 block of South Ashland Avenue, was dead at the scene, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.

No one was in custody as Area South detectives investigated.
