Watch: Nebraska Player Proposes To Girlfriend In Senior Day Speech
(CBS) Nebraska senior Mike Peltz went out in style yesterday on his Senior Day.
At the end of his pregame senior speech, Peltz told the fans there was one rule.
"You all know the rules tonight, and there's no sitting or kneeling of any kind," Peltz said.
Then he decided to make one exception, turning to his girlfriend and popping the big question. Shelby said yes, and Peltz's day was made more perfect when Nebraska topped Wisconsin for a big win that moved the Cornhuskers to 19-11 and helped in their quest for the NCAA Tournament.
