Clinics Sign People Up For Health Coverage Ahead Of Deadline
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Monday midnight is the deadline to avoid penalties when signing up for coverage under the Affordable Care Act. A series of sign-up clinics are scheduled between now and then. WBBM's Bob Roberts attended one at the Broadway Armory in Edgewater.

Navigators took information from those walking in and tried to find the plan best suited for them.
"The system is working, the website is working and people are getting enrolled in healthcare. We are seeing it happen every day and we are seeing it happen right now," said Get Covered Illinois Director David Elin.
Elin makes a point of saying financial assistance is available to lower-income applicants to keep the premiums affordable.
