(CBS) — The Chicago Bears selected Miami punter Pat O’Donnell with their second pick in the sixth round.

O’Donnell was First Team All-ACC in 2013 and was Miami’s special teams MVP as he averaged 47.1 yards per punt with almost half of his punts traveling over 50 yards.

He is first punter drafted by Bears since Todd Sauerbrun in the second round of the 1995 NFL Draft.

The Bears picked O’Donnell with their second sixth round pick and the 191st overall pick in the draft.
