(CBS) There are great catches in baseball every night, but rarely is there the sequence that played in Boston on Tuesday night.
In the third inning of the Twins-Red Sox game, Boston left fielder Jonny Gomes lost a flyball hit his way in the lights. As he helplessly looked around, center fielder Brock Holt made a spectacular diving catch on a ball not in his territory at all.
