(CBS) The Cubs have signed sixth-round pick Dylan Cease, a right-hander out of Milton High in Georgia.

With the deal, Chicago has now signed its top 22 picks from June’s amateur draft.

The 18-year-old Cease is coming off an injury, as he pitched just 12 innings as a senior at Milton High before an elbow ailment kept him off the hill the rest of the year. The 6-foot-2, 180-pound Cease was a preseason first-team prep All-American heading into the season after a junior year in which he went 9-0 with a 0.81 ERA and 100 strikeouts in 69 1/3 innings.
