Memorial Service To Be Held For Indiana Murder Victim
(CBS) -- The family of Indiana murder victim Afrikka Hardy will hold a memorial service for her next Saturday.
The service will be held at Zion Missionary Baptist Church at 3939 Drummond St. in East Chicago, Ind. at 11 a.m. on Saturday Nov. 1.
Hardy was killed on Friday, Oct. 17 in a hotel in Hammond. 43-year-old Gary resident Darren Vann has been charged with Hardy's murder and the investigation led police to discover an additional six bodies of women in Gary.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to the Her Name Is Afrikka gofundme account.
