CHICAGO (STMW) — Three men were charged with murder in connection with a fatal shooting in the Old Town neighborhood early Sunday.
Eddie Robert Simmons, 21, of the 3400 block of West 5th Avenue; Ahmed Martinez Walker, 18, of the 700 block of West 50th Place; and Matthew Cobbs, 20, of the 2700 block of North Francisco, were each charged with one count of first-degree murder in connection with a shooting that left 27-year-old Nacurvie Smith dead, police announced Friday night.READ MORE: 5 Killed, 20 Wounded In Weekend Shootings In Chicago

Simmons, Walker and Cobbs were seen leaving the scene of the shooting and were “quickly placed into custody” on the Eisenhower Expressway, police said.
