CHICAGO (STMW) — A man was shot and killed Thursday evening while driving on the Borman Expressway (I-80/94) in Hammond, Ind.
Rescue crews responding to a call of a hit-and-run crash about 7 p.m. found 25-year-old Dominique Wright in a black, older-model Oldsmobile on I-80/94 near Kennedy Avenue, according to Indiana State Police.READ MORE: Police Board Orders Firing Of CPD Officer Patrick Kelly, Accused Of Shooting Friend In Head While Off-Duty And Lying About It
Wright, of the 2200 block of Tanglewood Drive in Hammond, was shot multiple times while driving on the expressway near Cline Avenue, authorities said. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 8:40 p.m., according to the Lake County coroner’s office. He death was ruled a homicide.
