(CBS) — The agent of Chicago Cubs All Star shortstop Starlin Castro has denied reports that Castro was arrested, according to the Chicago Tribune.

ESPN Deportes reported that police questioned Castro over a nightclub shooing on Saturday in the Dominican town of Montescristi, Castro’s hometown.

Castro’s agent, Paul Kinzer, told the Tribune that Castro was not involved in the shooting and that he went to talk police himself.

Earlier this month, Castro was cleared of any wrongdoing in connection with another nightclub shooting.
